Dr. Eric Vondenstein, Owner/Dentist

Dr. Vondenstein was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana. He graduated in 2001 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In 2008, Dr. Vondenstein received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency with the LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Vondenstein and his wife, Jennifer along with their two daughters enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. His personal hobbies include playing guitar and fishing.

Dr. Linh Ngo, Dentist

Dr. Ngo grew up in Erath, La and completed her undergrad studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She received her DDS degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Southern Family Dental is blessed to have her on our team since July 2015.

Her goal is to help boost her patient’s confidence by maintaining a healthy Smile! She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and learning about different cultures.

Dr. Claire LeBlanc, Dentist

Dr. Claire M. LeBlanc is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. She is a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau. She moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University, where she graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Neuroscience. She then attended LSU School of Dentistry, where she graduated as a third generation dentist. 

Dr. LeBlanc has always been drawn to the artistic aspect of dentistry and appreciates the opportunity to boost a patient’s confidence through smile transformation. She is eager to serve the Acadiana community and build relationships with her patients. 

In her free time, Dr. LeBlanc enjoys traveling with her fiancé, volunteering, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
